My story
I bring solid 17-year experience in the field of finance. My professional journey has taken me on an exciting path, that mixes consulting and in-house experience. I have steadily advanced my career in the world of finance, working in various roles both within start-ups, corporate companies and in consultancy.
Before embarking on fractional and interim roles, I had the privilege of holding two in-house positions. The most recent position was that of Vice-President Finance at EMnify, a successful Software-as-a-Service startup based in Berlin, specializing in connectivity for the Internet of Things in the telecommunications sector. In this challenging role, I was responsible for all financial aspects of the company, including fundraising, M&A, management reporting, audits, liquidity management, and compliance. It was a period of rapid growth and transformation, during which I contributed to guiding EMnify towards success.
Before my role at EMnify, I had the honor of leading the global tax department at Zalando, one of Europe's largest online fashion marketplaces. Here, my focus was on restructuring, automation, processes, certification of the tax compliance system, as well as tax disputes and M&A. Working at such a dynamic company like Zalando was incredibly exciting and educational, especially with respect to corporate standards.
In addition to my in-house experience, I have 9 years of experience in consulting and project management at PricewaterhouseCoopers. In this role, I supported renowned multinational companies in meeting their financial and reporting compliance obligations.
My academic background includes three degrees: a Master of Law, a Master of Arts, and an Executive Master of Business Administration.
Furthermore, I am a certified tax advisor and an ACCA-qualified auditor and accountant.
